Our Park Street House, located in St Vincent’s Place precinct, is approaching construction. One of the remarkable features of this house is its two street frontages. To enhance the property, we decided to integrate a studio with dual access into the existing 1990’s garage and mezzanine.
Our aim was to create a complementary addition that respects the original architecture while showcasing a modern aesthetic. In our eyes, any addition here needed to be subordinate to, distinguishable from, and compatible with the accompanying 1898 home.
The original house, originally designed by John Beswicke, will also undergo a modest expansion at the rear, facing the studio. The extension will be separated from the studio by a lush inner city garden, adding to the overall charm and tranquility of the property.
We eagerly anticipate the moment when our clients and their family become part of the privileged group of custodians for this beautiful home.
Stay tuned for more updates on our Instagram as we can’t wait to share the journey and final result of this exciting project.
