Elwood House is an exploration into contemporary bayside living. Located in close proximity to the beach, this young family sought a home that reflected their active lifestyle and love for bayside living. The house is a harmonious blend of marine tones, capturing the spirit of the bayside while providing a contemporary and comfortable space for their everyday activities.
The project is situated opposite a football oval and alongside a canal. Embodying the essence of a modern beach shack reinterpreted for a laid-back, active family. Crafted for a young family, the residence seamlessly fuses style and functionality, offering a tranquil hub for a family that appreciates both relaxation and recreation.
With an emphasis on integrating the outdoors into the living experience, Elwood House opens its doors to the surrounding environment. Large windows, expansive thresholds, and thoughtfully placed skylights connect indoor and outdoor spaces.
